Service Description
Due to annual leave the course breaks for weeks 17th and 24th March - the course will therefore roll on to the 7th April to compensate. Who would be best for this course: Graduates of previous levels, owners that enjoying the training process and wish to continue to develop their dog. Intermediate part three training is so much fun - we now have a dog and handler that has all the basic training established. We begin to play with the knowledge gained! By the end of this course, your dog will go to his bed on command. Your dogs retrieve is now established we can proceed to scent work - this is when your dog can demonstrate just how superior his sense of smell is. Plus your dog will now focus and respond readily and with ease to new training exercises. Week one: Goal setting Heelwork and stewarding Block heelwork at all paces Formal recall as a group Week two: Introduction of “A” recall - - recall to Heel Off lead Stays Retrieve Week three: Down away from the handler on the dog's bed Off lead Heelwork Retrieve and introduction to teaching scent training Week four: Group training walk from the class location Week five: Recap and improver week focusing on the weaker exercises to prepare for the test (this may vary from group to group) Down Stay - off the lead Down - on the move Test practice Week six: Test & Awarding of Certificates
Cancellation Policy
Please be aware Course fees & deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable, if you are purchasing a place on a course with limited places you cannot transfer to a different time or class after the course has commenced, as this is too disruptive for the other group. However should a course be cancelled or a start date postponed you are fully entitled to a full refund if you cannot make the new dates.
